01. What We Collect

When you use this quote form, we collect:

Information you provide: Your property address, coverage type preferences, name, email address, phone number, and any other details you enter into our quote form.

Automatically collected data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, and time on site. We use cookies and advertising pixels from Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and X to measure ad performance and serve relevant ads. See Section 4.

From third parties: If you arrived here through a third-party advertisement, lead form, or referral partner, we may have received your basic contact information from that source. We require that any such source obtain your prior consent before sharing your information with us.

02. How We Use It

We use your information to:

• Prepare and deliver insurance quotes from multiple NC/SC-licensed carriers
• Contact you about your quote by phone, text, or email (subject to your consent)
• Operate and improve this website and our services
• Measure advertising performance on Google, Meta, TikTok, and X
• Comply with insurance regulations and applicable law

03. Who We Share It With

Insurance carriers. When you request a quote, we submit your information to one or more unaffiliated insurance carriers to obtain coverage options. Each carrier is a separate company with its own privacy practices. Once a carrier receives your information, that carrier controls how it is used, including obtaining consumer reports (credit, CLUE, MVR) for underwriting.

Our team and contractors. Our employees, licensed independent contractors, and appointed producers may access your information to service your quote and answer your questions.

Technology and service providers. We use agency management software (EZLynx), electronic signature platforms (DocuSign), AI-powered tools, and other technology platforms to process and service your request. Some providers may process your information under their own terms.

Advertising partners. We share certain browsing and conversion data with Google, Meta, TikTok, and X through pixels and tracking technologies (see Section 4).

Legal and regulatory. We may disclose your information when required by law or to the NC or SC Departments of Insurance.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

04. Advertising Pixels and Tracking

This site uses tracking pixels from:

• Google Ads — conversion tracking and remarketing. Manage: adssettings.google.com ↗
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — conversion tracking, audience building, and Conversions API. California visitors: we apply Meta's Limited Data Use flag. Manage: Ad Preferences in your Facebook/Instagram settings.
• TikTok — ad performance measurement. Manage: TikTok Settings > Privacy > Ads Personalization.
• X (Twitter) — conversion pixel. Manage: X Settings > Privacy and Safety > Ads Preferences.

05. Calls, Texts, and Communications (TCPA)

When you provide your phone number, you may be contacted by Harbor Insurance Agency by phone, text (SMS/MMS), or email about your quote and insurance options, including through automated dialing systems, AI-generated voice, and prerecorded messages. 06. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. NC residents have specific rights under N.C. Gen. Stat. 58-39-1 et seq. CA residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA (note: information collected for insurance quoting may be exempt under GLBA). 07. Data Security and Retention

We protect your information using encryption, access controls, and security practices consistent with the GLBA Safeguards Rule and applicable state law. We retain quote inquiry data for as long as necessary to service your request and comply with insurance regulations, generally a minimum of seven years from the date of inquiry.

08. Children

This site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
